The Leicester/shire Manufacturing Network forms part of the umbrella East Midlands Manufacturing Network which is led by East Midlands Chamber.

This meeting is a collaboration between East Midlands Manufacturing Network and the Chamber's International Trade Forum, and members from both networks are invited to attend.

Overview

East Midlands Manufacturing Network have laid strong foundations to make this and our other local networks across the East Midlands a success.

The East Midlands International Trade Forum is designed to equip businesses across Nottinghamshire, Nottingham, Derbyshire, Derby. Leicester and Leicestershire with the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to thrive in global trade, whether you're new to importing/exporting or scaling up international operations

This meeting will offer practical insights, expert guidance, and peer-to-peer learning to help your business with day-to-day manufacturing issues and to trade smarter and more confidently.

We now need you to come along and tell us what is most important to you and your business. We want to develop a trust peer to peer environment between all the members, and shape the networks to your needs – great or small!

Outcome

Identify common issues and problem solve, in a trusted, collaborative environment
- Encourage best practice and the sharing of skills across member companies
- Host specialists from a diverse range of fields to share their expertise in the form of presentations, workshops and other networking events
- Create a positive perception of UK manufacturing
